3 2 Advanced Order Copy 4 Provides –Online availability checking by warehouse from within the order –Ability to copy / move line items from within an order –Move an entire order from one warehouse to another –Move an entire order from one customer to another, one company to another An I/O enhancement for DMAS

7 6 Checking Availability 4 Availability checking is accessed from the DMAS Review Detail Line Items screen 4 Availability is generally checked after all line items for the order have been entered 4 Availability for up to 3 warehouses may be displayed at a time

8 7 Checking Availability Product availability in other warehouses may be checked by pressing function key F16 on the DMAS Review Detail Line Items screen The user may want to check availability in other warehouses if the desire is to ship the entire order from a single warehouse The warehouse availability screen is requested by pressing F16

9 8 If at least one item within the warehouse has insufficient availability, the warehouse code is displayed in PINK Checking Availability Availability for up to 3 warehouses at a time may be displayed Availability that is insufficient for the order is displayed in PINK If a least one item within the order is not stocked in a given warehouse, the warehouse code is displayed in RED Up to 3 additional warehouses may be viewed by pressing function key F11

10 9 4 Based on the availability in other warehouses, the user may decide to “move” the present order from the current warehouse to a warehouse that can ship the entire order 4 The “move” function may be initiated by pressing function key F17 (see ) Return to Advanced Order Copy Summary Checking Availability Advanced order Copy

11 10 Moving an Entire Order 4 An order may be moved to –Another warehouse (same customer) –A different customer (same or different W/H) –A different company (same or different W/H, same or different customer) 4 The user initiates an order ‘move’ from the Distribution Center Availability screen of the order to be moved by pressing a function key

12 11 Moving an Entire Order An order ‘move’ is initiated by pressing a function key The user presses function key F17=Copy items to another W/H to initiate an order move If any item was ‘excluded’ from the copy, the item number would be displayed in RED In this example, all items are to be ‘included’ in the copy (this is to be a complete order ‘move’ from W/H 01 to W/H 08) Items may be ‘excluded’ from the copy by using an option of ‘X’

13 12 By leaving the remaining options blank, the new order is created for the same customer / company Moving an Entire Order The Copy Order window is then displayed If the new order being created is to be for a different W/H, the W/H code is keyed To create the new order for a different customer and/or company, the user keys the new customer / company data

14 13 The customer number, company and W/H for the order being created are automatically inserted Moving an Entire Order The DMAS Begin Copy Order screen is then displayed The order number of the order being copied is automatically inserted To user should make sure the correct order type is entered for the order to be created, then press the Enter key

15 14 If necessary, pricing data may be changed at this point Moving an Entire Order The DMAS Order Header is then displayed for the order being created The user should make sure all order header data is correct for the order being created The user continues by pressing the Enter key

18 17 All items that were ‘included’ in the copy are then deleted from the contributing order – thereby making the operation a ‘move’ Moving an Entire Order The user now decides if the copy just performed was a ‘copy’ or a ‘move’ If the user intended for this to be a ‘move’, he presses the Enter key Since this example was a ‘move’ of the entire order, the entire contributing order is deleted and the user is returned to the function from which the original order was entered Return to Advanced Order Copy Summary

43 42 W/H Availability Options 4 Each user may set W/H availability options that are unique to each user id 4 Availability options may be accessed from the Distribution Center Availability screen 4 The user may set the options for future sessions or only for the present session

44 43 W/H Availability Options Availability options are accessed from the Distribution Center Availability screen To access the W/H Availability options, the user may press function key F14=Set defaults

45 44 The user may choose to always show the W/H of the order in the first column W/H Availability Options The W/H Availability Options for the present user are then displayed The user may choose his defaults for copying to be ‘include’ or ‘exclude’ all items End of topic To keep the keyed options for future sessions, the user should press F19=Save defaults To use the keyed options only for the present session, the user should press the Enter key The user may choose which W/Hs to show and in which order
