49 Points to remember Incidence is declining, but prevalence of HCV- related cirrhosis will markedly increase in next years HCV treatment can induce permanent remission and reduces mortality and morbidly DAAs markedly increases effectiveness of treatment in difficult to treat patients (genotype 1, advanced fibrosis, previously treated and African Americans)
