FORA will be homeless with 600 dogs & 200 cats by end December 2009, so every cent counts towards creating a new home for the dogs & cats that have been brought to FORA by owners that no longer can afford to look after their animals. FORA is sending out an urgent plea for your help, be it in the smallest way. They need to raise R3.5 million to buy a suitable property & put-up kennels, runs and other infrastructure. We need your help.

2. Event:Fundraiser Walkathon for FORA, Walk a Mile for a Million with your dog at Walkhaven (great food, drinks, entertainment & shows for the family to enjoy). Date:21st November 2009 – Saturday Venue:Walkhaven Dog Park, next to Cradle of Humankind, Muldersdrift. 22 hectars of rolling grassland, fully stocked dam surrounded by lush wetland that is home to a large variety of feathered friends. Braai & picnic facilities are strategically placed throughout the park should you wish to bring your own refreshments. Costs:R20 per Adult R10 per Child How can you help?
