Day 1: The rain, wind, and cold made for a rough start to the trip. Hiking in that kind of weather was difficult. We were very tired and eager to get to the hotel. Day 2: The tour guide told us that Yellow Mountain is rainy and foggy for more than 260 days a year. Many tour groups left Yellow Mountain without seeing anything besides the rain and fog. Feeling tired and somewhat pessimistic about the weather, I decided to stay at hotel in the afternoon. While I was resting on the bed, the sun came out. The phone was ringing, it’s I was so glad that she convinced me to come out at the end. Yellow Mountain is charming and gorgeous. Our pictures could only capture a fraction of the beauty. Day 3: We woke up early in the morning to catch the sun rise. Although it wasn’t as beautiful as 阿里山 的日出和雲海 that I remembered from years past, it was a good way to end the trip. To be fair, events are often seem more beautiful when recalling them many years later. Despite the initial bad weather, I am very happy to have been able to see you all again and share with you the beauty of Yellow Mountain. I am sure that with the clock keeps ticking, our memories of this reunion will grow even better and fonder.
