. © 2008 Aastra Communications, Ltd. Call Distribution: Embedded Features »Calling Party Management and Call routing to the called party. »Call Distribution programmed through a calendar and the following parameters: –Operator Console and SVOP, –Reduced Services : Lunch Break … –Dissuasion Mode »Call Distribution to hunting groups and their associated waiting queue –General Call HG*, –Cyclic HG –Fixed head HG –Longest pause time HG* –Overflow HG »Advanced features such as Intercom and Boss/Secretary filtering *not with SIP

. © 2008 Aastra Communications, Ltd. Call Distribution: SURVOP »Reminder: –A super-group is made of several HG not defined on the same ACS/Gateway. Its role is to perform help services between HD, to perform some back-up mode and to have sets defined on different ACS on the same number  In R4.2 a supergroup is defined either with SURVOP or through the IAE interface. –SURVOP manage Group and Super-group + provide HG and Operator Console supervision on a V24 interface. »SURVOP does not exist anymore in R5.1  Some features coming from SURVOP are now managed by AMP, and soon on IAE/SAE.

. © 2008 Aastra Communications, Ltd. Call Distribution: SURVOP »SURVOP Replacement –HG Supervision was showing:  Common info and HG’s set status,  Waiting Queue, overflows, help-group status, overflow, help group  This feature disappeared –Operator Console Supervision was showing:  Kind of set (PSRN or PO),  Inactive, available and busy OP console’s lists + waiting calls and overflows.  This feature disappeared –HG management allowed:  Programming of the 3 following parameters ring and timeout durations,  Affectation of the help group and % of waiting calls on the HG (the total amount of waiting calls depend on the % of connected sets in this HG).  This feature still exists through AMP and IAE. –Super group Management define the HG from the duper-group, its associated hierarchy and the parameters to go from 1 level to another.  This feature still exists through AMP and IAE.

. © 2008 Aastra Communications, Ltd. Announcements and Films »Each gateway is able to manage films and announcements –Duration depending on the Compact Flash Card(1Go / 2Go) –16 simultaneous synchronous access for announcement broadcasting and up to 250 synchronous films »A Call Server is able to use those announcements and films for its IP set’s use and for the external calls (SIP trunks). –Possibility to listen the announcement from all the sets by using a dedicated prefix and the announcement’s number. »Films and Announcements are managed on the AMP portal –*.wav files downloaded via AMP –Tone-announcement association and announcement number affectation…

. © 2008 Aastra Communications, Ltd. Interactive Voice Response (IVR) »Flexible Call Distribution up to –3 levels in the IVR script / 32 nodes per IVR –5 languages in R5.1 –8 simultaneous access »A full bunch of features directly available on predefined nodes –DTMF numbering on an internal number for the caller –Direct routing of the external caller through DTMF on an internal number –Routing to a mailbox –Transfer on the Attendant / Operator –Film diffusion (message broadcasting) and associated navigation –Goback to previous number

. © 2008 Aastra Communications, Ltd. IVR Management »Programming of the IVR Script is made remotely by AMP linked to the dedicated AXSerie’s Gateway. Configuration of the selected node Graphical picture of the IVR on the Explorer interface

. © 2008 Aastra Communications, Ltd. »SDS suppression: –Each i2070 is linked to the directory server »Direct Access from the i2070 to LDAP records (records in the iPbx). »  More open solution –Direct access to this directory: no copy –AD directory synchronization »Enhanced Interactivity (real time connection to Database – such as in an hospital) »i2070 personal directory does not exist anymore: –Personal directory records from the previous release need to be transferred to Outlook Personal Contacts i2070: Evolutions R5.1

. © 2008 Aastra Communications, Ltd. i2070: Impacts »Incoming Calls / CNID: –If the associated name is not in the directory server (number not in the directory), the i2070 will search in the outlook contacts. –Outlook Interactivity still available –File pop-up is still possible (to be configured) »Outgoing Calls / CBN: –Name search performed in the LDAP directory instead of the integrated / local directory. »Red Records will only be available on dedicated users (info coming from the iPbx). –CNID replace the number by the name ; then the number is not presented in the extension’s display) except for the operator console. –CBN available from the i2070’s interface not on the associated M760

. © 2008 Aastra Communications, Ltd. i2070: Configuration »i2070 has to know which directory he has to use. »This directory is one of the following directory: –LDAP Directory  and login-password has to be defined in the i2070 (login-password is defined on CS or Gateway’s directory). –SDS Directory, then the existing parameters will be used. »A session made from the administrator is mandatory to program and configure i2070.

. © 2008 Aastra Communications, Ltd. i2070: Inter-working »i2070 R5.1 are able to be connected to all iPbx from R1.3. »IPBX/CS R5.1 do not accept i2070 in a previous release »i2070 R5.1 connected to an IPBX R4.2 has the same features as an i2070 R2.2 connected to an iPbx in R4.2. –Reminder this R5.1 will use the SDS directory »In a multisite configuration an i2070 R5.1 is able to work in the LDAP directory mode as soon as a R5.1 iPbx is available in this multisite: –CNID resolution will be performed by the i2070 through its access to LDAP directory

. © 2008 Aastra Communications, Ltd. Use cases Situation 1 : mono or multi-site IPBX/ACS R5.1 »Only i2070 R5.1 are working –All i2070 have to be upgraded (if one is in a previous release they all won’t work). »i2070 R5.1 directory is working in the LDAP mode. »If upgrade : Info from the R2.2 i2070 personal directory need to be transferred through Outlook contacts.

. © 2008 Aastra Communications, Ltd. Use cases Situation 2 : mono or multi-site IPBX/ACS R4.2 »Both i2070 R2.2 and R5.1 are working. »i2070 R5.1 is working in SDS mode. –Directory type (SDS or LDAP)  SDS –Parameters to be defined  Network path for SDS, from the FTP server »Reminder : i2070 does not recognized in which mode the directory is working.

. © 2008 Aastra Communications, Ltd. Use cases Situation 3: heterogeneous multi-site IPBX/ACS R4.2 and R5.1 »Only i2070 R5.1 are working (both the R5.1 and R4.2 connections are needed) »In the Multisite, Master Directory is the LDAP Directory. –i2070 directory is configured in the LDAP mode. »Number’s resolution is made by: – iPbx/CS if the iPbx/CS release is R5.1 –i2070 if the IPBX/CS release is R4.2
