Its role is to perform help services between HD, to perform some back-up mode and to have sets defined on different ACS on the same number In R4.2 a supergroup is defined either with SURVOP or through the IAE interface. –SURVOP manage Group and Super-group + provide HG and Operator Console supervision on a V24 interface. »SURVOP does not exist anymore in R5.1 Some features coming from SURVOP are now managed by AMP, and soon on IAE/SAE.

Call Distribution: SURVOP »SURVOP Replacement –HG Supervision was showing: Common info and HG’s set status, Waiting Queue, overflows, help-group status, overflow, help group This feature disappeared –Operator Console Supervision was showing: Kind of set (PSRN or PO), Inactive, available and busy OP console’s lists + waiting calls and overflows. This feature disappeared –HG management allowed: Programming of the 3 following parameters ring and timeout durations, Affectation of the help group and % of waiting calls on the HG (the total amount of waiting calls depend on the % of connected sets in this HG). This feature still exists through AMP and IAE. –Super group Management define the HG from the duper-group, its associated hierarchy and the parameters to go from 1 level to another. This feature still exists through AMP and IAE.
