© 2013 Great on the Job26 MY PITCH: BANKING Destination Back Story Connect the Dots I'm a big picture thinker by nature and a numbers person by training. I think banking is a great combination of the two I was actually a Peace Corps Volunteer in Chile and a policy analyst at the E.P.A., so this is a major departure for me I loved my finance and strategy classes, I excelled in both and I think banking is a great intersection of the two
© 2013 Great on the Job27 MY PITCH: CONSULTING Destination Back Story Connect the Dots Management consulting provides an amazing opportunity to combine big picture thinking with tightly honed problem solving skills– I love the idea of working across business and industries to get a diversified set of experiences As a policy analyst at the EPA and a Peace Corps Volunteer in Latin America, I had the opportunity to hone my problem solving skills in challenging and non-traditional environments Given my unique background and perspective and my tendency toward analytical thinking, I think management consulting is a great opportunity to apply my skill set and experience
