We start at the Butte and climb the Sacre Coeur, after climbing those steps
Yes, it’s a steady climb from Montmartre
There is what they call a funiculaire or vertical tramway; but that’s for the oldies!
We came to the Butte primarily to sample Montmartre’s Eateries and look at Art

Plenty of opportunity to enhance your language skills!
Even had a look at Emile Zola’s gravestone…
Modern-day Crusaders on horse-back in Montmartre
Regrettably there’s little to write home about as far as outstanding quality is concerned to-day
We’ll have a bite to eat and then find the Lookout on the Sacre Coeur
Ideal hideout for an early Autumn evening
No, I found nothing there that came close to this old master
Eiffel Tower from Sacre Coeur
It looks attractive at night!
Rather drab in daylight, I’m afraid!
The Louvre Museum for a couple of days
Notre Dame Cathedral
No, I don’t need all that military junk on my birthday!
But before we leave, a quick look at La Defense, the new Paris CBD
Paris too has variety in Transport
Mine is higher than yours; appears to be the game…… Well, what did you think of the frog legs?????
