Students Intake 2010 – Domain-wise
Students Marks – B.Tech The class consists of 30 Male and 24 Female students and their average marks at B. Tech is similar at 67%
Student Marks – B.Tech (Percentage) The class consists of 8,6,6,7 & 3 Male students in above categories, And it is 2,7,5,7 & 3 in case of Female students.
Performance in M.S
Women students from all domains have fared uniformly, where as the EEE men students performance has to be improved.
Student Performance – MS ( a comparison with B. Tech ) Men students who have < 60% marks have not improved, their performance has to be improved. Same way women with 71% to 75% marks have fared badly and needs introspection.
Student Performance – MS (Domain-wise) Our assumption that ECE students alone will perform better is wrong, in fact other domains have done well
Skill Improvement – M.S (A Comparison with B. Tech marks) Improvement is good with students between 55% to 70% Drop in performance noted between 71%-75% more significant with men
Impact of Commuting on performance Women perform better closer to campus Men perform better when staying with parents (!)
Improvement at M.S At B. Tech both men & women have same % of marks Women performed better and have 116% improvement Men’s performance is 112%
Performance in Assignments Women have performed better in Software Engineering 78
Performance in Projects Compared to men, women are performing better in execution of Projects
Students Aspirations 25% men and 12% women aspire to become Entrepreneurs 30% of the women wants to pursue Research. 73% of men and 58% of women prefer good job.
