2 About us… Established in 2000 Not-for-profit corporation Offers opportunities for children in the entire province of Ontario

3 About Us… Offers three programs 1. Wally Scott Bursary 2. Financial Relief 3. Let’s Learn Hockey

4 Wally Scott Bursary Provides minor hockey players with financial assistance to continue their education to the post-secondary level. Applicants must abide by a criteria outlining their contribution to the community as well as maintaining a commitment to their education 2008 Recipient, Josh Breedyk of Port Dover, ON

5 Financial Relief Assists financially- challenged minor hockey players with funds to continue or get a start in the game. Applicants must complete a strict set of guidelines to receive funding. Funding is sent directly to the minor hockey association to ensure money is allocated to registration fees.

6 Let’s Learn Hockey Partnerships with Children’s Aid Society (CAS), Big Brothers & Big Sisters (BBBS) and local minor hockey associations. 30-35 kids per year Receive new equipment, attend a skills clinic and subsidy for the following season’s registration Past LLHP include Lindsay, Leamington, Kingston and Georgetown.
