2. What I would like to know…. Questions How long do you have to go to school to be a zookeeper? What is the salary of a zookeeper? Do you work with all the animals or just a few of them? Answers 4 years at a college and you have to have a bachelors degree Normally you work with just a few there are a lot of hands-off animals

3. Zookeeper Duties Before the visit I thought zookeepers… Play with the animals Need a lot of schooling Take care of the animals health Make sure the animals needs are met. After the visit I learned zookeepers… There are not a lot of full time zookeepers in Watertown There are people who specialize in certain areas They play with the bears until they are five months They never put monkeys from different families together

4. Zoo Visit Reflection I was most surprised by the new room in the zoo. Its pretty cool because of all the new tanks and trivia games. I would like a zoo related career because you get to be around animals, but at the same time I wouldn’t like it because you aren’t really hands on with a lot of them My favorite part of the zoo visit was when we got to go into the monkey holding pen

5. Construction CampYAY! Amanda October 20

6. What I did at Architecture/Construction Camp We got to go take a tour of the new police station that is being built. We had hammering races in the building trades room. We had pizza and pop for lunch. We got tape measurers with notepads and pens.

7. Architecture/Construction Camp Reflection I was surprised by how much fun I had. I thought it would be really boring. My favorite activity at camp was the building trades room because we got to cut things out of drywall, and have hammer races I would not like to pursue a career in the Architecture/Construction related cluster because I don’t like construction.
