6 Findings: Use of e-portfolios 27 PRHO’s have accessed the e-portfolio (n=39) 9 Supervisors (n=39) 6 Nursing Students have accessed the e-portfolio (n=10) 4 regular users

7 Findings: Use of e-portfolios Technology should not be a barrier to portfolio learning Case 1 & 2 ( n=79 ): 50 % found it very easy or easy to use initially 11% found it hard or very hard. Case 3 ( n=7 ): all found it easy to use.

10 Findings: Reflective Learning E’ users rated themselves better at reflection than paper based users One Nursing tutor felt that the e-portfolio had improved student skills of reflection O ne PRHO noted: “It made me think about things I wouldn’t normally have thought about” “It’s good to have everything in one place”

12 TIME Per Month E-Portfolio users: 5.2 hours Paper users: 6.1 hours OWNERSHIP Non-users- All felt they owned own work E-portfolio users-1 felt they owned their work The rest felt the Deanery owned their work

13 Findings: Feedback Non-users receiving feedback more frequently Nurses noted advantage of being able to receive feedback from multiple sources
