2 NC Housing Coalition Mission and Vision  Our mission is to lead a campaign for housing that ensures working families, people in crisis, seniors and persons with disabilities may live with dignity and opportunity.  We envision that all North Carolina communities include an ample supply of quality affordable homes.

5 Administered by NC Housing Finance Agency  Paired with the federal LIHTC  $35 - $45M yearly investment  Operates as a long-term, non- amortizing loan Not eliminated by 2013 tax reform; not extended past sunset of Jan. 1, 2015 NC State Housing Credit

6 NC State Housing Credit Rebranded - Workforce Housing Investment Program (WHIP) Several potential vehicles to extend sunset Option of including as special provision in the budget
