5 Indra HISTORY 1918 Incorporation of the first company that later became Indra Constitution of Indra Indra IPO. Indra listed in the Madrid Stock Exchange Acquisition of Azertia and Soluziona Global company with references in 5 continents 1993 1999 2006 Indra was created in 1993 and is the result of the merger of a series of state owned and private companies in the communications, electronics and computer industries. The oldest of the companies making up Indra as we know it today was created in 1921, Eisa (Experiencias Industriales, S.A.) in Real Sitio de Aranjuez. In 1993 Indra Sistemas was created. INISEL and all its subsidiaries and CESELSA merged to create Indra Sistemas. The new brand is therefore made up of four companies: ERITEL (consulting and computer services), DISEL (automation and control), CESELSA (defence electronics) and INISEL ESPACIO (space industry). After the IPO undertaken in March 1999, 75% of Indra’s capital is listed on the Stock Exchange. Caja Madrid, with 10.5% of the shares, Thomson CSF with another 10.5% and Banco Zaragozano with 4%, owns the remaining 25% of the company. 2006: The integration of Azertia and Soluziona. Indra consolidates as the first high technology solutions and services company in Spain and one of the main European and Latin American companies. 2010 5
