Christmastide – celebrates the birth of the saviour. Lent precedes and prepares for Easter – a time of prayer, fasting and almsgiving. Eastertide celebrates the resurrection of Jesus. Pentecost celebrates the coming of the Holy Spirit. The Annunciation celebrates Mary’s ‘yes’ to be the mother of Jesus. The Assumption – Mary was taking to heaven before her earthly death. The Immaculate Conception - Mary was full of grace from the beginning of her life. Rosary – a journey with Mary through the life of Jesus.
