9 Migration Tips  Data Clean up is essential  Items with blank locations  Bib records with no items  Mismatched items  Communication is the Key  Expect problems, develop workarounds  Drive the enhancement process

13 WorldCat knowledge base (KB) Implementation  Summer 2012- first “big” library to populate it  Collections not available  Holdings wrong in the collections  Add custom collections ourselves  Uses KBART files, not MARC records  Some vendors clueless  Streaming Media was added at the end of 2012  Matches to WorldCat records through OCLC number  Titles within a Collection didn’t have an OCLC match  Still a work in progress
