6 Malaria is a parasitic disease transmitted by the bite of infected mosquitoes. Once the first symptoms appear, malaria can kill very rapidly and often does.

7 million cases of malaria cause up to 3 MILLION DEATHS EVERY YEAR, most of them children under the age of 5.
