What is World Day? We think of as just a word of greeting, but on this day HELLO means much more. Beginning with a simple greeting on World Day, people around the world send a message to leaders, encouraging them to use communication rather than force to settle conflicts.
History of World Day World Hello Day was begun in response to the conflict between Egypt and Israel in the Fall of 1973. Since then, World Hello Day has been observed by people in 180 countries. 31 winners of the Nobel Peace Prize are among the people who have realized World Hello Day's value as an instrument for preserving peace.
How to participate in World Day ? On November 21, we should say hello to ten people and voice our concern for world peace. Let’s make this event even bigger by learning how to say hello in ten different languages.
