2 In an effort to get feedback from the parents of our students, a survey was conducted at the end of the first six weeks. As part of the advisor program, parents are asked to pick up their child’s report card from their child’s advisor teacher. During that meeting, parents were asked to take a brief moment and complete the survey. The survey was offered in both English and Spanish.

5 On the following pages are graphs to indicate how the parents responded to the survey. A total of 138 surveys were returned. This represents a 74% response rate. For comparison, there were 66 6 th grade students, 54 7 th grade students, and 67 8 th grade students enrolled at the time of the survey (total 187). 6 th grade, 47 parents in total (71%) responded with 42 parents indicating yes for all questions, and 5 parents answering any question with a response other than yes. 7 th grade, 34 parents in total (63%) responded with 27 parents indicating yes for all questions, and 7 parents answering any question with a response other than yes. 8 th grade, 52 parents in total (78%) responded with 40 parents indicating yes for all questions, and 12 parents answering any question with a response other than yes. 5 surveys had no grade indicated. All of these respondents indicated yes for all questions.

Email addresses are on this website for you to be able to communicate with your child’s teacher, principal and vice principal. If you prefer to come to the school to visit with a staff member, you can locate the teacher’s conference time on the master schedule located on the campus homepage under “site shortcuts”.
