It has been a pleasure to have Dayana in my reading class. Dayana has demonstrated that she is serious about preparing herself for the 7th grade. Her participation and class work has been exemplary. This Certificate Recognizes Dayana Student of the Month at Chaparral Middle School For Language Arts May 12, 2009
Clothing for Students Chaparral was able to clothe many students who had a need for uniforms due to the donations of 8 th graders from 07/08. Chaparral was able to provide uniforms for students for one reason or another was not in uniform for the day, eliminating the need to call their parent.
Chaparral’s 1 st annual carnival We hosted our 1 st carnival. The best idea was to pre-sell tickets to eliminate the long lines at the carnival. Everyone had fun – parents, kids, brothers and sisters! We had one of our own bands provide the music. Advertisement from SOL News Blast was great!! We couldn’t get the word out without them.
Goals for Take pictures of events (for my PowerPoint next year) Involve more parents to the PTO and events. Have another amazing carnival Involve students Continue to get to know students. Get parent computers set up in PIA room
This concludes my PowerPoint. Have a great summer!! This was my first year at Chaparral and I enjoyed it very much. I look forward to next year and I have a lot of ideas to work with.
