4 Countable nouns e.g. I eat a banana every day. I like bananas. Banana is a countable noun.

5 4 A countable noun can be 1. singular (banana) or 4Countable nouns are things we can count. 4So we can say ‘one banana’,‘two bananas’ etc. Countable nouns 2. plural (bananas)

7 Countable nouns We add -es to most nouns in -o: tomatotomatoes potatopotatoes But we just add -s to: radioradios photophotos

9 Uncountable nouns e.g. I eat rice everyday. I like rice. Rice is an uncountable noun.

10 Uncountable nouns 4 An uncountable noun has only one form. (rice) 4Uncountable nouns are things we cannot count. 4We cannot say ‘one rice’, ‘two rices’, etc.
