14Read TogetherTake out your student reader and turn to page 24. The girl is jumping in hay. What do you know about hay? Where might you find a lot of hay? Hay is grass that is cut and dried. Horses and cows on a farm eat hay. A hayloft is a place where a farmer keeps large piles of hay. Today we will listen to the poems « City Songs and Hayloft. »
