3 What is an Individual Learning Plan? A student/teacher designed project that allows students to demonstrate mastery of standards within and beyond the classroom.Empowers students to demonstrate mastery of standards through engaging projects that are unique to their individual interests and abilities.Allows students to move ahead or catch up in standards/subjects.Enables students to engage in activities such as internships, jobs, and other off campus responsibilities.

6 How do I create an ILP?Find standards that you need to complete than can be targeted through a project that a teacher is not currently addressing in your classes.Document these standards and a detailed project plan on our blank forms that are provided.Think about how you will show mastery of the standard using a rubric/begin with what will show proficient (mastery) of that standard. No matter what standard it is, your goal is to be proficient. What would that look like for the standard that you picked?Gather approvals from teachers and parents.
