What is DataDirector? Web-based Filing Cabinet Stores assessment data State,District, School or Classroom level Last years data is loaded at this time. Reporting Tool Data can be exported to create charts and graphs
Made by Educators for Educators Purchased with Race to the Top Funds Geared toward raising student achievement In previous years, we have used Thinklink for this process
DataDirector vs. Thinklink Thinklink tests were already created Large achievement gap with Thinklink Thinklink tested all skills whether taught or not. Riverside will test according to the district scope and sequence.

Logging In: STS’s will send usernames and passwords to teachers. Won’t have access until after Nov. 4 th at the earliest.

Assessments Large Filing Cabinet State Data is stored here Filtering System
Assessments Stores data state and local tests EOC, TCAP, PLAN, EXPLORE, and ACT data will be uploaded After filtering, select student to see their specific data View, access, and create assessments Upload student data
Exams Exams will be combined into a folder system under Assessments in Dec. Stores, displays, and repots exam data Create tests aligned to state standards and generate answer documents
Exams IMPORTANT- Naming Convention is very important Numbers and Operations- Horvath Tests may be shared among PLCs- other schools, district, etc.
Exams Testing Formats: Paper Pencil / Scan Online Looking into CPS Constructive Response- teacher enters rubric Data can also be hand - entered
Exams Banks K-12 Bank- 100,000 items District Benchmarking- 26,000 (different) Classroom Item Bank- 39,000 ETS Item Bank- 64,000 Won’t be the same questions as state tests but same formatting. ETS does the AP test. Common core for LA and Math- 22,000
Exams Can write your own items All items from banks are assigned a difficulty level from Bloom’s Taxonomy and Webb’s Depth of Knowledge ExamView can be imported.
Reports Many reporting options available including custom and pre-built reports We won’t have all reports this year- need at least 2 to 3 years of data More to come on Reports after Nov. 4 meeting- very extensive training Can be exported to PDF or Excel Custom letter to the parent- can be ed
Standards Tennessee SPIs Common Core Riverside will update standards as changes occur Can search and filter Cleaner Search
Housekeeping with accounts Teachers will not use this- all you will see is your account info listed here Communication
Electronic Cumulative File – can search student data All former TCAP data loaded here Pulls the information from STAR Can view student schedules Eventually will upload from STAR every night Students
Secure System- will time out if you login and leave PC for a while Discipline- If district chooses to upload discipline, it can be viewed here Access groups of students to generate reports Students
Programs Way to create custom groups to track and give assess to teachers not on their schedules Can add or remove students from group at anytime RTI, ESL, Sped Coaches- track players Grad Coaches- State released report this week of 9 th graders who are risk- track these students AP Students Honors Classes
Data Contains all demographic files – can be filtered Imported from STAR
