Patient Portal Templates

Click on Templates. While logged in as a Delegate,

1.Select the appropriate template for responding to your patient. 2.Click “Open”. 2 1

Click “New Message”. Currently, we are unable to click reply when responding directly to a patient, when using the Templates.

1.Search for your patient. 2.Click OK. 1 2

1.The patient’s email address will drop into the “To” box. 2.Type your name at the end of the message. 3.Click Send. Type your name. 1 2 3

Points to Consider: Clinical and Non-Clinical Templates 1 2 3 1. The Subject line is blank for Clinical and Non-Clinical Question Templates. 2. There are placeholders after “Dear” to automatically drop in the patient’s name. There is no need to type the patient’s name. 3. Backspace the line after Dr. and type the Provider’s name.
