All rights reserved. 9.1 Types of Reports in Medisoft 9-5 Reports are an important tool in managing a medical office Information contained in reports is key to the administrative and financial areas of a practice Common types of reports include: –S–Standard reports –C–Custom reports –M–Medisoft Reports

All rights reserved. 9.4 Analysis Reports 9-12 Medisoft provides several analysis reports, including: –B–Billing/Payment Status Report –P–Practice Analysis Report Medisoft's practice analysis report analyzes the revenue of a practice for a specified period of time, usually a month or a year –C–Created from the Analysis Reports list of the Reports menu

All rights reserved. 9.8 Aging Reports 9-19 An aging report lists the amount of money owed to the practice, organized by the amount of time the money has been owed –U–Used to determine which accounts require follow-up to collect past due balances –C–Created for patients and insurance carriers A patient aging report lists a patient's balance by age, date and amount of the last payment, and telephone number

All rights reserved. 9.9 Custom Reports 9-21 Medisoft has a number of additional built-in custom reports, including: –L–Lists of addresses, billing codes, EDI receivers, patients, patient recalls, procedure codes, providers, and referring providers –C–CMS-1500 and Medicare CMS-1500 forms –P–Patient statements and walkout receipts –S–Superbills (encounter forms)
