2 Who? Student-driven Students working in groups Students presenting to one another Students helping younger students You don’t need to know all the answers! Other subjects (e.g., maths) may be interested as well University students are an excellent resource

3 What? Practice linguistics olympiad problems Writing their own puzzles Exploring other languages – “Old English club” “Linguistics book club” UKLO resources forthcoming!

4 Where? Resources at schools: Whiteboards/blackboards Projectors Photocopying problems Scratch paper! Online communities Elsewhere

5 When? Whenever! Year-round? A few days before the competition? Lunch-hour – or other times!

6 Why? Practice Students gain confidence and competence at all levels. Fun! Who doesn’t like solving puzzles with their friends? Engage more fully with the subject.
