Course Selections for the Freshman Year All Freshmen will take the following: ENGLISH BIOLOGY SOCIAL STUDIES MATH - Students Math placement will be determined in late Spring.

Course Selections for the Freshman Year (Con’t) All freshmen take PE I and II Options: Freshmen Year, summer school, PE II Waiver PE II Waiver- IHSAA sanctioned sports, marching band, color guard, Accents, Ambassadors, Dance Team
Course Selections for the Freshman Year (Con’t) All students need 1 Health Credit (Health or IPR)
CHS SUMMER SCHOOL Dates and Times: June 1-July1 Monday-Thursday 8:00-12:00 PE I is the only option Registration- through May 1st INDIANA ONLINE ACADEMY (IOA) Dates and Times: June 6-July 23 PE I and/or Health Registration- April 13 through June 2

The online scheduling window opens the day that the HS counselors meet with the students through the following Monday at 10 PM. Monday after 10 PM the on-line scheduling will be locked so only H.S. counselors can make changes.
How do I change my schedule after meeting with the Counselor? A parent should e-mail the freshman counselor for any elective changes or questions about the course requests. Schedule change requests need to be made by March 1 st. Requests for changes made between March 1 st and May 1 st will be honored only if seats are still available in a class.
What help is available if I get confused or have additional questions? PARENT COFFEES (8:30 A.M.) Creekside- Friday, Jan 16 th Carmel- Friday, Jan 23 rd Clay- Friday, Jan 30 th CHS COFFEE (7:00 P.M.) on February 19 th
Greyhound Kick-off This is a wonderful opportunity for the students to become familiar with the Freshmen Center and CHS prior to that first day of school. These forms will be mailed to you in June. Return only the bottom part with your check. Keep the top part for your records to help you remember if you registered. Friday, August 7 9:30-2:30 The first day of school is Tuesday, August 11th
