3  What you SHOULD NOT do…  What you SHOULD do…  The Law of God encompasses BOTH of these ideas!!  The Bible’s commands cannot be read correctly until and unless this is fully understood!!

4  We live in a world of suffering, pain and death because God’s law has been pushed aside.  Satan rebelled against it and claimed it was an onerous yoke that deprived intelligent beings of reaching their fullest potential.  This is to be a lesson to the whole universe about sin and its terrible results.  Satan’s hatred of the law will end up proving forever that God’s law is holy, just and good.

5  Where did the Law originate?  Before Sinai?  At Sinai?  After Sinai?  What did Jesus Say about the Law?  What did the Apostles say about the law? YOU CANNOT OBEY SOMEONE UNLESS THEY TELL YOU WHAT YOU SHOULD DO!!!

12 BEFORE SINAIJESUSAPOSTLES The two shall cleave together and were bone of each other’s bone. One flesh. Genesis 2:23,24 God withheld Abimelech from the “sin” of adultery. Genesis 20:6,7 Joseph knew adultery was sin. Genesis 39:8-9. Job also kept the whole principle of this command. Job. 31:1, 9-11 Divorce was not as it was in His day from the beginning. Job 24:14-16,18 Joseph’s brothers knew stealing was wrong, they were ready to die if found thieves. Genesis 44:8-9 The first sin involved Adam and Eve stealing something they were expressly forbidden to take. Christ’s mission is the opposite of a thief. John 10:10 All through His teachings, we see the concept of GIVING to others in contrast to grasping, get for myself, carnal nature. Stealing in the opposite of giving. 14 BEFORE SINAIJESUSAPOSTLES Deceptiveness has been the devil's trademark from the beginning, for "he is a liar and the father of it". (John 8:44) Lying and bearing false witness was all part of the first sin in the garden of Eden. Just see how God's word is not only contradicted, but false witness insinuating that God is withholding a great blessing is made. Genesis 2:17, Genesis 3:4-5, Job 27:4 Jesus points to the father of lies. John 8:44 The full meaning of the command explained. Matt. 12:34-37 Priests and rulers bore false witness against Jesus to kill him. Matt. 26:59, Mark 14:56 Put away lying and speak truthfully. Eph. 4:25 No corrupt communication. 15 BEFORE SINAIJESUSAPOSTLES Coveting is the root of most sin. Lucifer coveted God’s position. Eve coveted forbidden fruit, which led to eating it. In ancient chinese oracle bone writing, 4500 years before our time, the pictogram for the word “covet” is two trees and a woman. Be on guard against coveteousness. Luke 12:15 Don’t worry about your life, eats, drinking, clothes. Matt. 6:25 Coveteous will not inherit the kingdom. Ephesians 5:5 Be content with what you have and don’t hope for riches.
