1 God’s Plan for Mothers Happy Mother’s Day

2 1. Raise Godly Kids God's Plan for Mothers Malachi 2:15
Has not the Lord made them one?  In flesh and spirit they are his.  And why one? Because he was seeking Godly offspring.  So guard yourself in your spirit and do not break faith with the wife of your youth.

3 1. Raise Godly Kids How do we Raise Godly Kids? God's Plan for Mothers
Proverbs:16:3 commit to the Lord whatever you do, and your plans will succeed.

God's Plan for Mothers 7 Steps for Raising Godly Kids Step 2. Know & Obey God’s Word Yourself… John 14:21 Whoever has my commands and obeys them, he is the one who loves me. He who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I too will love him and show myself to him."

6 7 Steps for Raising Godly Kids
God's Plan for Mothers 7 Steps for Raising Godly Kids Step 3. Tell Your children frequently of God’s Works Ps 78:3-7 what we have heard and known, what our fathers have told us. We will not hide them from their children; we will tell the next generation the praiseworthy deeds of the Lord, his power, and the wonders he has done. He decreed statutes for Jacob and established the law in Israel, which he commanded our forefathers to teach their children, so the next generation would know them, even the children yet to be born, and they in turn would tell their children. Then they would put their trust in God and would not forget his deeds but would keep his commands.

7 7 Steps for Raising Godly Kids
God's Plan for Mothers 7 Steps for Raising Godly Kids Step 4. Teach Your Children God’s Word 2 Tim 2:15 Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that need not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. Step 4. Teach Your Children God’s Word Deut 6:6-9 These commandments that I give you today are to be upon your hearts. Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up. Tie them as symbols on your hands and bind them on your foreheads. Write them on the doorframes of your houses and on your gates.

Lead them to an understanding to Accept Jesus as their Savior  Rom 10:9-10 That if you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved.

God's Plan for Mothers 2. Pass the Baton (Your Legacy of Faith) Psalm 71:17-18 O God you have taught me from my youth: And to this day I declare your wondrous works. Now also when I am old and gray-headed, O God do not forsake me, Until I declare your strength to this generation, Your power to everyone who is to come.

12 3. Chair One Living God's Plan for Mothers
A First Chair Person:  Is not only saved, but knows the Lord as a personal friend and savior and displays a meaningful growing relationship with Him for himself and those he’s responsible for.  He willingly puts himself/herself under Christ’s authority and direction.  The apostle Paul would call this the “spiritual state”.  The First chair the Chair of Commitment

13 3. Chair One Living God's Plan for Mothers
The Second Chair Person:  Represents someone who has received new life in Christ but hasn’t decided in his heart how much or how little they want to follow Him. The Second Chair the Chair of Compromise

14 3. Chair One Living God's Plan for Mothers
The Third Chair Person: Represents someone who has not committed their heart and life to the Lord.  A Third chair person may have always known he wasn’t a Christian, he may have consciously rejected God or he just may be confused about his spiritual state. The Third Chair the Chair of Conflict

I said, 'I will never break my covenant with you, and you shall not make a covenant with the people of this land, but you shall break down their altars.' Yet you have disobeyed me. Why have you done this? Now therefore I tell you that I will not drive them out before you; they will be [thorns] in your sides and their gods will be a snare to you."
