8 Return to Room Christopher Columbus Christopher Columbus was born in Genoa, Italy 1451. He received the education. In 1479 he tried to improve his social skills. Columbus took a big risk to go back to Spain. By Andrew and Gabriel

9 Return to Room Stephen Hawking Stephen Hawking was born in Oxford, England, in 1942. His father was a doctor. He wanted Stephen to study medicine, but he was interested in math. At his college, so he got a degree in physics. He married Jane Wilde he had three kids named Tim, Lucy, Robert. While studying for his Ph.D. Hawking was diagnosed with Lou Gering's disease, in which the person loses all control of their muscles. His major accomplishment is that he proved that black holes are real. By Chris and Logan

10 Return to Room Maya Angelou Maya Angelou was born in April 4, 1928 in St. Louis Missouri as Marguerite Annie Johnson. Her brother gave her nickname Maya. In 1931 Angelou’s parent separated. In 1941, Angelou gave birth to her son, Guy. In 1957, Angelou recorded her first album called Miss Calypso. She won the Presidential Medal of Freedom in 2011. She died in 2014. 11 Return to Room The Wright Brothers The Wright brothers were born in 1867 and 1871. The Wright brothers’ names are Orville Wright and Wilber Wright. Then they started to take flight in planes. They made planes in Kitty Hawk, North Carolina in December 1793. Their interest in aviation was aroused in the 1890 by a German engineer Otto Lilienthal. By Austin, Messiah, and Mikey

13 Return to Room Sacagawea Sacagawea was born around 1788. She was a Native American woman who accompanied Lewis and Clark on their expedition of the Western United States as an interpreter and. 15 Return to Room Sitting Bull Sitting Bull was born near the Grand River South Dakota during winter around 1831. He only had a father and his mother died. He discovered he was a tough warrior at the age of 14. A few years later his first wife died at 1853 by child birth. He’s four year old son died in 1857. That same day he adopted his sister’s son. 17 Return to Room Jane Goodall Jane Goodall was born on April 3, 1934. She was married to Baron Hargo Van Lawick. They got divorced in 1974 and they had one child. She loved animals as a child and wanted to learn more about them. So when she was an adult she studied chimpanzees. Later she stared a program called Roots and Shoots. 18 Return to Room Niels Bohr Niels Bohr was born in 1922. He had 6 sons and was married to Margrethe Nourtund in 1912.He made the nuclear fusion and made the first ever atomic bomb and dropped the first two atomic bombs on Japan. He died in 2009. By Thomas and Zylan

19 Return to Room Marco Polo Marco Polo was born in 1254 in Venice, Italy. His father was a merchant who traveled to sell goods. Marco was 17 when he sailed with his father. Ford lost some of his popularity because he angered people when he spoke out against unions; he left his car company to his grandson. His major accomplishment was to make the biggest car company. She thought her would kill her but he was killed because he was stabbed. Then she married Antony and she had three children. Anthony died in her arms. She died at 39 and was buried next to Antony.
