Giovanni Boccaccio: he was a famous Italian writer in the XIV century. Boccaccio wrote : “ Decameron”, it was translated into many languages, Decameron is very important in the E.U.
Giovanni Petrarca: he was born in 1304 and he died in 1374 he was an Italian writer and poet. Petrarca’s masterpiece is Canzoniere, which is very famous in the country. The other very important work is Secretum, where Petrarca speaks with S.Augustine.
Giotto: he was born in Vespignano, in 1267 and he died in Florence, on 8th January 1337, he was an Italian architect and painter. He was a religious man and he painted many pictures representing Jesus’s life. Two very famous pictures are : “Jude’s kiss”, “Crucifixion of Rimini”. He designed the“Bell tower” in Florence”.
Papa Celestino IV: he was born in Molise in 1209 and he died in 1296. He was the 179th pope in the Catholic Church.
Papa Bonifacio IV : He was born in Agnani in 1230 and he died in Rome in 1303
