1 PHILIPPINE ECONOMIC ZONE AUTHORITY APPLICATION FOR IMPORT PERMIT Complete Processing Time: 20 minutes (up to approval of IP) EOD Enterprise Operations Department (EOD) EOD EOD Manager/ Officer-in-Charge EOD Incomplete RESPONSIBLE DEPARTMENT PROCESS FLOW FEES (TIME) SCHEDULE OF IMPORT PERMIT PROCESSING FEE (IPPF) START ENTERPRISE OR AUTHORIZED REPRESENTATIVE Submits Accomplished PEZA Form 8101 with Attachments Documentary Requirements: Certified True Copy of Proforma Invoice Original Copy of Authorization issued by the PEZA Enterprise to the Licensed Customs Broker Product Brochure (as may be required by PEZA) Nota Bene: Import Permit applications must be filed with PEZA prior to the actual arrival of the goods (Rule X Section 1 of the IRR of RA 7916). All importations must be directly and actually needed in the registered activity and for the exclusive use of the PEZA- registered enterprise (Rule XV Section 1.A.1.a) Hazardous chemicals, explosives or ingredients thereto, telecommunications equipment and other restricted materials should be covered by the necessary import controls / clearances. 3 YES NO PROCESSING OF APPLICATION TO FARM-IN (FORM 8105) (Bring-in goods from Customs Territory into the Ecozone) PHILIPPINE ECONOMIC ZONE AUTHORITY START APPLICATION Zone Enterprise files PEZA Form 8105 with: PROCESSING PEZA Recommending Officer evaluates: Needs further evaluation review? PEZA Recommending Officer advises Zone Enterprise/Representative to comply with other specific requirements which may include the submission of additional supporting documents APPROVAL Undertake final review Approve and sign the Form 8105 PEZA Recommending Officer signs Form 8105 and endorses the same to the PEZA Zone Administrator/ Zone Manager/ OIC who shall: PEZA Officer assigns Control Number INSPECTION PEZA Examiner conducts examination, signs the Form 8105 RECEIVING PEZA Examiner receives the shipment together with the corresponding 8105 and supporting documents into the zone. END Letter of Authority (if applicable) Delivery Receipt / Invoice CEWE 1 or non-PEZA economic zone document/s if Constructive Import Other documents as may be required by PEZA Authorized Signatory Description and Quantity of Goods as compared to the list approved under the LOA Purpose of farm-in and other conditions of LOA Accuracy of information & compliance with regulations NOTES: 1 CEWE = Customs-EPZA Warehousing Entry

4 YES NO PROCESSING OF APPLICATION TO FARM-OUT (FORM 8106) (Bring-out goods from the Ecozone to the Customs Territory) PHILIPPINE ECONOMIC ZONE AUTHORITY START APPLICATION Zone Enterprise files PEZA Form 8106 with: Letter of Authority (Constructive Export, Local Sales, Subcontracting, Transfer for Repair, etc.) Surety Bond Packing List / Delivery Receipt / Invoice Other Documents as may be required by PEZA PROCESSING PEZA Recommending Officer evaluates Authorized Signatory Description and Quantity of Goods as compared to the list approved under the LOA Purpose of farm-out and other conditions of LOA Accuracy of information & compliance w/ regulations Needs further evaluation review? PEZA Recommending Officer advises Zone Enterprise/Representative to comply with other specific requirements which may include the submission of additional supporting documents APPROVAL Undertake final review Approve and sign the Form 8106 PEZA Recommending Officer signs Form 8106 and endorses the same to the PEZA Zone Administrator/ Zone Manager/ OIC who shall: PEZA Officer issues order of payment for Constructive Export or Local Sales PEZA Officer assigns Control Number INSPECTION PEZA Examiner conducts examination, signs the Form 8106 RELEASING PEZA Examiner releases the shipment together with the corresponding 8106 and supporting documents.
