1 Samuel16:2,3 Sacrifice 2)There were two sacrifices requiring a heifer. a)Numbers 19 required the sacrifice of a red heifer to cleanse someone when they became defiled. b)Deuteronomy 21 required the sacrifice of a heifer to remove guilt from a city when someone was slain and they didn’t know who did it.
1 Samuel 16:4,5 Sanctified 3)To sanctify means to prepare, dedicate, to be set apart.
