10 Influenza Vaccine Coverage in IIAS Current IIAS does NOT capture the following new influenza vaccine codes: – Flu-LAIV4 – Flu-IIV4 – Flu-IIV4pf – Flu-ccIIV3 – Flu-RIV3 Therefore current influenza vaccine coverage estimates for the 2013-2014 are an UNDERESTIMATE

16 Summary Influenza activity is low Flu vaccination activities are underway – 12% of active clinical users have been vaccinated* – To date, over 137,793 doses have been administered* to active clinical patients vs. 135,792 doses this same time last year – Flu vaccine coverage* ranges from 7.3% (Alaska) to 23.1% (Tucson) I/T/U sites should run their influenza coverage reports WEEKLY and follow up with people who have not yet been vaccinated * Because the IIAS is not currently capturing the newer flu vaccine codes, this is an underestimate
