2 OBJECTIVES 1.Preparation and characterization of new conductive materials by using the combination of various substituted PANIs and various protonic dopants such as the bulky protonic and polymeric acids. 2.Development and optimization procedures for the preparation of PANI blends and composites by mechanical mixing, casting of a solution containing the components of the blend or ‘in situ’ polymerization of substituted anilines in the presence of the proper conventional polymer. 3.The efficiency of the composites preparation and external doping will be examined taking into account structure and properties of materials prepared, particularly the optical, mechanical, thermal and electronic properties.
