2  Students watch short lectures at home, with the ability to slow down, rewind or review a lecture while taking notes.

3  Concept engagement takes place in the class period with the teacher as facilitator.  Students work cooperatively to be successful in understanding concepts.

4  Less time required for homework.  Students have the ability to review a lecture as many times as needed and at their own pace.  Taking notes becomes easier.  Students work cooperatively to help each other understand the concept through the use of in-class exercises or discussions.  More time available for the teacher to help students that need assistance the most.

5  There is no single model for a flipped classroom.  Provides pre-recorded videos followed by in-class exercises.  Can include on-line quizzes and activities.

6  First you need videos on the concept to be learned.  Videos already available on the internet.  Teacher made videos on you-tube  Teacher made videos embedded on your website.
