Average A number that typifies a set of numbers of which it is a function. Huh?

Mean The average value of a set of numbers. Huh?

Average=Mean The average is the mean. The mean is the average. Huh?

Let’s try it this way. The average (or mean) of data is computed by –1. Adding all the data together (sum). –2. Dividing that sum by the number of data.
