There is geometry in the humming of the strings... there is music in the spacing of the spheres. Pythagoras. The History of Philosophy (c.1660) by Thomas Stanley.

Antics Greeks SEC 5 IC - Pitagora The stars are on a sphere around Earth and form an armonic space. Earth – Moon = 1 tone Moon - Mercur = 1 semitone Mercur – Venus = 1 semitone Venus - Sun = 1 tone and half Sun – Mars = 1 tone Mars – Jupiter = 1 semitone Jupiter – Saturn = 1 semitone Saturn – stars = 1 semitone There are six tones = 1 octave Platon Aristotel Aristoxene Pythagoras discovered that the pitch of a musical note depends upon the length of the string which produces it.

The ideals of Pythagorean harmony inspired Copernicus himself.Copernicus Imagine that you are sitting on the sun. Planets do not orbit you circularly; they do so elliptically. Moreover, as planets approach you, their velocities increase. These observations made by Johannes Kepler (1571- 1630) are pivotal to our present-day understanding of the solar system. Kepler dreamed that the planets' movements were of a divine order and that they collectively formed the music of the spheres. He wrote, "the movements of the heavens are nothing except a certain everlasting polyphony." As you listen from the sun, focus on the warbling pitch of the planets--the higher the pitch is, the faster the planet is moving

The elementary particles  60-70 octaves higher than audible sounds. (Joel Sternheimer) From microcosmos to macrocosmos, everything vibrate: A black hole from Perseu emits sounds few million lower than the audible sounds – the lower limit registered in the Universe Inside the atom: the stable particles have consonant accords the instable particles have disonant accords

1.Volume : pressure variations ~ 1/100,000 corresponds to about 90 dB  Loud but not cacophonous 2.Pitch :  48 – 52 octaves below concert A (440 Hz) Nature of Cosmic Sound

Power spectra not Sounds are not usually just one frequency, many many frequencies are simultaneously present. The relative amount (loudness) of each power spectrum frequency is called the power spectrum. Thus sounds can be graphed in two ways : waveform = pressure vs time (or location) power spectrum = loudness vs frequency (pitch)

The picture shows the full sky as seen by NASA‘s microwave telescope, WMAP. These microwaves have been traveling for almost 14 billion years and they provide the most distant and ancient picture of the Universe we have dating from 380,000 years after the Big Bang (for a human, that's just 12 hours after conception).

The planetary three-hour-range Kp index was introduced by J. Bartels in 1949 and is derived from the standardized K index (Ks) of 13 magnetic observatories. It is designed to measure solar particle radiation by its magnetic effects.Kp index

Adriana has transcript on staves the graphics which record the activity of the geomagnetic field – Kp index. The chords become agitated when the Earth is affected by a geomagnetic storm.
