Its target is to fulfill the needs of its local market as well as the Balkans and eastern Europe. Biofresh & Biofresh Egypt will supply Freshland with approximately 25,000tns of NFC Orange juice and Concentrates for reconstituted juices, for nectars & high juice content beverages. The capacity of the aseptic line that will be installed is large enough to be used for bottling juices and beverages too.

PRESENTATION OF FRESHLAND S.A. COMPETIVE ADVANTAGE: Biofresh Egypt is planned to be located in the desert road between Cairo & Alexandria. The maximum distance from Biofresh Egypt to the port of Alexandria is approx. 150 km. Then, the product will be shipped to Githio port. The product will be transferred very fast in its final destination as the port is very close to the plant (25km) The shipment cost (Conventional vessel or Ro-Ro of 1000MT) is approx. $25-27,000 + cost of loading & unloading.

COMPETIVE ADVANTAGE: The geographical position of Freshland which is located in Peloponnese is advantageous to the company as the firm can benefit from the short distance of the port of Patras, from which the company can export to Italy or other main European markets Moreover, Freshland can benefit of its advantageous geographical position by transporting its products to other Balkan countries.

COMPETIVE ADVANTAGE: There have been negotiations between Biofresh and Brazilian NFC producers for the installation of an aseptic line that will fill bins, in order to receive the NFC Orange Juice in Greece at an equal price of DDP Central Europe Port. The competitive advantage will be strong for all the countries in Mediterranean region, Italy, South Germany, Austria and other countries of South Europe as the customer would have to pay the transportation cost from Greece to final destination and not from port to the bottling factory and then to the final customer. Moreover, there have been several discussions between the main transporter of ALDI & LIDL for a more inexpensive transportation freight from Greece to Central Europe, as they have to reposition a very big number of truck from Greece to other destinations.

More activities: Bottling of Water from nearby springs The mountain of Taygetos is the tallest mountain of Peloponnese and amongst others, it is famous for the springs and the quality water that gushes from them. The water from the springs of Taygetos is well known in Greece for its purity and quality. Freshland will be able to have access to a number of springs and take water in order to bottle it in its facilities. This bottled water could be distributed not only in the Greek market but all over the world.

FILE SUBMITION & APPROVAL OF THE GREEK MINISTRY OF ECONOMY Freshland S.A. has submitted the file for entering in the investing incentive law 3299/2004 of the Greek Ministry of Economy and has received the certification of selectability #39361 on 18/11/2008.
