Being a Musician By: Harrison Swift
On stage Musician The price range can vary. Most singer/songwriters that perform world tours could make an average up to 5 million a year. The salary of being a musician could differ from the amount you actually play out and perform.
Education Education and training is of great importance to a full time musician. Orchestra musicians have to take years of learning in a Music school compared to Blues Guitarist that play on the streets of Austin.
Clothing Being on stage can really affect the way you dress. The proper clothing for a person in an Orchestra can relate to Tuxedo's and fancy suites, compared to the clothing of guys in a rock band.
Schedule of hours When being a musician, there isn't a certain number of hours that you have to attend “work”. Its possible that being a full time musician, you might need to work enough hours in a day but that only rarely applies when in studio or giving lessons, etc.
People that like musicians People that are mostly in to music and the feel of music, are mainly the ones that like being musicians. But just because you like musicians doesn’t mean you know a lot about music. The average Joe could like watching musicians but not know one chord on a piano.
