1 Teenage fashion in Finland

2 Spring Spring is the time when bright colors come back to people’s clothing in Finland. We usually have one piece of clothing which is colourful and the rest of the outfit is black or something uncolourful. Jeans with some casual shirt is always good and when it is not cold anymore, leather jackets make comeback to people’s everyday looks. Spring is also time when we can start using lighter clothes. Dresses and sneakers belong to many peoples spring outfits.

3 Summer In summer you can see Finnish people wearing the most colourfull clothes in the year. But our summer fashion changes by weather. If it`s sunny girls usually use dresses or shorts and tops. Boys uses t-shirts and shorts. But when it´s rainy or cloudy weather we use much clothes and more darker ones. Summer is also the time of different shoes like sandals and heels because it`s almost the only time in the year when we refine to use them.

4 Autumn In the autumn we wear dark-colored clothes. The autumn colours are dark red, blue, purple or green. Black is the most used color. The autumn clothing is warm because our autumns are rainy and chilly. The most popular autumn clothes are jeans, cardigans, maxi skirts, leather jackets and tube scarfs. Ankle boots, rubber boots or sneakers are shoes that we use in the autumn because our feet are getting wet. You can also see woolly hats and mittens in the autumns because there might be only +5 degree then.

5 Winter We Finns are a well-known sports nation and we know how to show it, especially among young people. Sneakers In the winter we Finns prefer to wear dark clothing like outdoor jackets and matching trousers and spice the outfit with splashes of bright colours in other accessories like scarves and mittens A warm and cosy sweater is a must have for all Finns, it’s easy to match with a pair of jeans for instance. And even though it might be -30 degrees outside, we would still cope with a
