PINNACLEPINNACLE The contest to become the top Region in the UK
PINNACLEPINNACLE ©2013 BuzzmarK Entertainment To Educate and Inform Pinnacle is a TV game show that pits regions of the UK against each other to show their knowledge of the country, in particular the region that they represent. Depending on the format this could be town, county or TV region. For the purposes of this presentation we are using ITV regions.
PINNACLEPINNACLE ©2013 BuzzmarK Entertainment To Educate and Inform Each team comprises of three members, one of whom is the nominated spokesperson. An electronic table will be available on the Internet as well as in the studio showing the number of games played, points won and relative positions of each team. The questions may be set by the opposing team but will need to be formally approved by the programme before going to air to ensure that all teams present questions of a similar level of difficulty.

Points are displayed on the score table. In the 2 nd programme each team is asked a quick fire question on each of the other regions. Point are amalgamated with those from round 1 and shown on the score table. The top eight proceed to the knockout (programmes 3 to 10).

In reciprocation for advertising their regional products, an agreement should be made for : a)Sponsorship of the programme in the local TV region. b)Input towards the prize for the winning team. This could take the form of charitable cash donations or donations in kind (eg. Car hire for a weekend or food hampers to hospitals or retirement homes).
