Classroom Safety Environmental Health & Safety
Classroom Safety Instructors are responsible for the safety of students during classroom or instructional period
Aisles within classrooms and access to exits must remain clear to allow for a quick and orderly exit if necessary Classroom Safety
Instructors should set a good example by observing all safety rules and wearing appropriate protective equipment Classroom Safety
Be alert for unsafe conditions; observe what students are doing, and take effective corrective action promptly Classroom Safety
Review laboratory experiments, craft projects or field activities for health, safety, and environmental problems before they are assigned to students Classroom Safety
Inform students of potential hazards associated with laboratory, shop, or field work prior to activities Classroom Safety
Don’t use human blood or body fluids without the approval of department and notification of EH&S Classroom Safety
Instructors must assure that students wear appropriate protective equipment Classroom Safety
