What do you do if you fall ill when not in Derby? The NHS allows patients to be treated as temporary residents at any GP practice throughout the UK. If you go home (in the UK) and you need to see a doctor, you can be seen by registering as a temporary patient at another surgery. Please do not register as a GMS patient outside of the Derby area if you intend to return to Derby University.
Patient Participation Group We are currently looking for people to represent the 18 years to 35 years category. ThePatients who are on the PPG currently support the practice for a number of reasons including an interest in health related matters or in their local services, they may represent specific services users, or may want to put the volunteering on their CV. They may want to give something back to the practice or like the social aspect of the PPG. There are many more reasons why patients would chose to be in this group.
