18. Economic cooperation Participation in an economic mission in Ukraine (2005). The mission was organized by the Urząd Marszałkowski Województwa Dolnośląskiego [Office of the Marshal of the Lower Silesian Voivodeship]. While in Ukraine, meetings with business and self-government representatives were organized. The contacts to companies and institutions from the business environment were handed over to their counterparts in Kłodzko poviat. Organization of an economic mission to Hague (2004), during which relationships with tourist organizations were established. The participants in this mission were the representatives of the Stowarzyszenie Gmin Ziemi Klodzkiej [Gminas of Klodzko Land Association], Kłodzko poviat and Lądek Gmina and Nowa Ruda Gmina

19. Economic cooperation a French investor was won, who opened a factory producing plastic elements for the automotive industry; the investor employs 120 people,

20. Economic cooperation An Irish investor from the precision engineering field – Fenelon Group – was won. The investor will start production this year in the Special Economic Zone – Subzone in Kudowa. Until 2008, 250 new workplaces will be created.

21. Economic cooperation developing and publishing CD–Biznes – a CD multimedia guide for investors. The guide is the first publication which contains complex information about fixed property, land and concessions for investors in Klodzko poviat.

22. Economic cooperation Cooperation with the Nachodska Industrial and Commercial Chamber, which resulted in the organization of a dozen or so trade meetings for businesses from Poland and the Czech Republic

23. Region promotion On 18-19 September 2006, on the initiative of Kłodzko poviat, 30 Miss World 2006 finalists visited. Thanks to that, the materials about Klodzko Land appeared in all Miss World publications and materials. The Kłodzko poviat has the title of the event co-organizer.

Region promotion Every year Kłodzko poviat participates in tourist fairs both in Poland and abroad and issues publications and promotion brochures Tourist Fairs in Poland and abroad (among others Brno, Prague, Berlin, Saint Gallen, Mińsk, Łódż, Katowice, Poznań, Gdańsk, Warsaw, Wrocław) 2003 – 10 fair events, 2004 – 10 fair events 2005 – 6 fair events 2006 – 4 fair events

25. Region promotion The Kłodzko poviat systematically cooperates with Polish and foreign media in order to promote the region. The last media activities of the poviat are two films prepared for the TVP2 channel from the TV series entitled Podróże Kulinarne Roberta Makłowicza [Robert Makłowicz's Culinary Travels]
