2 Informal Survey The survey was sent to 23 of 24 counties in the Northern Indiana County Warning Forecast Area.

4 Do you have an organized SKYWARN Group? When Do you Activate Them(i.e. during watches or only when warnings are issued)? 60% have an active group 20% indicate they activate themselves 30% indicate they activate when warnings are issued. 10% indicate they activate when watches are issued.

5 Do your emergency response agencies deploy for weather watch? If yes, when do they activate (i.e. during watches or only when warnings are issued)? 50% indicated that it is a local agency decision with two counties indicating that emergency response agencies will deploy if requested to do so by EMA. 50% responded that they only deploy for weather watch when warnings are issued.
