SALIENT FEATURES OF EDUCATION CODE BY: M GOVINDU, ZIETMYSORE M. GOVINDU, ZIET, MYSORE
THE EDUCATION CODE Education code for Kendriya Vidyalayas, which serve the purpose of a guide and a ready reference in the daily working of Kendriya Vidyalayas. It deals with the set up of the Organisation and the duties and powers of Officers of the Sangathan and the Principals. Provides information about the constitution of different committees at the Vidyalaya level for smooth functioning of Kendriya vidyalayas. Provides the procedures and the rules to be followed in conducting the Morning Assembly, Scheme of studies followed in the schools, academic supervision and the conduct of examinations for different classes.
The source for guidance on the matters related to Co-curricular activities, collection of fees and remittance into the bank, maintenances of library and furniture, land and buildings. It is a good source of rules for discipline, classification, recruitment, terms and conditions of service in Sangathan.
