Twenty-First Century Learning at Peachtree City Elementary Dr. Kristin Berryman Principal
"We must prepare our students for their future not our past.“ DavidThornburg
How did we learn to access information?
Obviously we didn’t find those sources sufficient because…
In 1975 Bill Gates and a childhood friend, Paul Allen, formed Microsoft
In 1998 Larry Page & Sergey Brin founded
In 2004 Mark Zuckerberg Wrote Registered & Incorporated
In 2007 Steve Jobs announced the release of the iPhone Since then over 50,000 apps have been developed for the iPhone
Now this is how citizens of the twenty-first century access information.
How do we meet our students where they are and guide them toward a future we cannot predict?
Through the 3 “R’s” and the 7 “C’s” Relationships Rigor Relevance Communication Collaboration Cents Citizenship Civility Creativity Critical Thinking
