Do you know about the new STAAR exam? The State of Texas Assessments of Academic Readiness or STAAR exam is the new required testing for all students who started high school in 2011-12.
The STAAR EXAM is … … more rigorous than TAKS with greater emphasis on alignment to college and career readiness. … twelve end-of-course (EOC) assessments covering four content areas replace grade-level TAKS tests.
Which content areas are tested? English Language Arts Math Science Social Studies
