A community can be a place, but it can also mean the people who live there. Imagine: Without its people, a community would be NOTHING but the buildings and space! HOW CAN WE BE GOOD CITIZENS IN OUR COMMUNITY? WHAT DO YOU THINK IS THE GREATEST RESPONSIBILITY A PERSON HAS IN SOCIETY?
Where do you live? Maybe your home is in a small neighborhood. What makes your community a good place to live?
A community is a place where people live, work, and play together. People in a community HELP each other.
There are some things that people NEED, no matter WHERE THEY LIVE! What are these things?
A citizen is a person who lives in a community. They are OFFICIAL members of a community, state, or country. What makes a person a GOOD citizen? Turn and talk with the person sitting next to you.
